Progression of a Sketch
Was in the bathtub at the end of the night when the concept of a winter in the park type of painting that was gestural came to mind (along with an end of the winter day color palette concept), I grabbed my iPad and spent about 20-minutes sketching out the concept, which I may or may not tackle in the future for a serious painting - love how it turned out and how powerful individual brushstrokes can be - reminds me of some of the covers of New Yorker Magazine when I was a kid…
