Debbie was sick all day yesterday and some the day before - lots of stomach distress - unsure if it is food poisoning or some sort of virus like the Norovirus as Alex and Flynn had been sick the days prior. I found some anti-nausea medicine for her that seemed to help a good bit, but she still doesn’t feel well yet this morning…

I know everyone wants to believe that it’s over and we’re past Covid-19 - we’re not…. https://apple.news/AAPKG_RxaSu2tDOKIYtmA3w
Today’s a long year, and the first day of summer. The heat has broken in Colorado and we had a wonderful day today with high temperatures in the mid 70s. My day was fairly full with work and about 20 minutes of gardening. Last night I made a salad from our lettuce and arugula; I also picked some beets, radishes, Italian parsley, scallions and a few other goodies to put into the salad. Debbie is having a bad allergy day and our Internet continues to be volatile, kicking me off of video conference calls left and right. It is impossible to talk to a human being in Xfinity; are there a human beings at Xfinity? Does anyone else use other Internet service providers here in Douglas County?
It's been a incredibly hot lately, with temperatures over 100-degrees for several days in row - I read somewhere that we've had more 100+ degree days in Colorado in June than we typically see in a two-year period - not great for the summer garden - a lot of our cooler weather crops like Bok Choy, Greens and Broccoli are starting to bolt already. Hopefully things cool down for good over the coming days...
