Debbie has had a rough healthcare odyssey the past few years. In January 2019, she fell on black ice and broke her leg and ankle badly. She fell again in October of 2021 and now the hardware that was used to surgically repair her leg has malfunctioned, necessitating a third surgery - she’s been bedridden for the past 15-months. To get ready for the surgery, we are getting in front of several other health issues such as anemia, Hyponatremia, etc. Debbie was in the hospital for 11-days in late December and early January with low sodium and a bad gastro-area infection. Debbie had an iron infusion yesterday and overall, it seems to have gone well. Fingers crossed that 2023 is a year of recovery for our girl!
