Art

I started painting watercolor in 2016 and today, it’s exciting to know that my art hangs on walls in Arizona, Texas, Minnesota, Indiana, Colorado, Florida and that some of my artwork has been used to raise money for various charitable organizations. Today I paint predominantly in water media (watercolor, acrylic, gouache) and digitally. I have been contemplating getting into oil painting, which may be more suited to my style. My photography hobby allows me to capture the landscapes and views that my eyes see but painting allows me to interpret - I am not a photorealistic artist, preferring to try to capture the relationship of hues and light similar to the impressionists and pointillists of the late 19th century. I am a student of art and visit art museums whenever I can, having visited dozens of them all over the world.
